Ghanaian Hiplife artist, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel, has said she is not interested in taking to court, the ‘hater’ who pelted her with egg at the All White Party in Gent, Belgium.
Recall that the event, which held December 26, purportedly went sour after an angry female fan pelted the singer with an egg during her stage performance.
The singer had expressed appreciation to fans and organizers of the show for condemning the act and had publicly narrated how the attack affected her.
The ‘Senkwe’ crooner, speaking with Joy News, said, “I believe I am not as strong as people commended me to have been throughout the entire incident.
“I really like how the fans and the bandsmen reacted when the woman came and threw the egg at me…. the bandsmen immediately stopped and people started throwing insults at her, yelling, there was chaos and people insisted that she should be kicked out, and she was kicked out, the show continued.”
The attacker’s name, according to Mzbel, is Yaa Grace and upon interrogation for her attitude, said she had gotten information that Mzbel had ‘insulted’ Nana Akufo-Addo, although, she could not come up with exactly what the musician was claimed to have said.
Speaking further, Mzbel said, “The organizers reported to the police, but I didn’t want to drag this whole thing.
“First of all, I don’t even live there and we have to go to court and it means I have to overstay.
“So, I said it’s ok, I didn’t get hurt, so they should just leave her besides, how the crowd reacted was enough.”
