Akufo-Addo releases second batch of ministerial nominees

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has released the second batch of 12 ministerial nominees after the first batch of 13 that was released on Tuesday.

The President also created new ministries while realigning others. He also said the third and final batch would be announced by Friday.

The two new ministries are the Ministry of Regional Re-organisation and Ministry of Railways Development.

The nominees are:

Dan Kwaku Botwe – Regional Reorganization and Development.

Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei – Monitoring and Evaluation.

Prof. Kwabena Frimpong Boateng – Environment, Science,Technology and Innovation.

Joe Ghartey – Railways Development.

John Peter Amewu – Lands and Natural Resources.

Samuel Atta Akyea – Works and Housing.

Joseph Kofi Adda – Sanitation and Water Resources.

Ignatius Baffour-Awuah – Employment and Labour Relations.

Kweku Ofori Asiamah – Minister-designate for Transport.

Ursula Owusu-Ekuful – Minister-designate for Communications

Kwasi Amoako-Atta – Roads and Highways.

Otiko Afisah Djaba – Gender, Children and Social Protection.
