Gospel musician, Apostle Irene Adu Gyamfi, popularly known as Mamalistic Mama, has rubbished reports making the rounds that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo bought her over with money.

There had been reports that the ‘Nkunim’ musician sold her song ‘Ebedane’ for GHc50, 000 to the President and his New Patriotic Party, NPP during the 2016 general elections.

But Mamalistic Mama has described the reports as unconfirmed and false.

She said this in a chat with Onua 95.1 FM.

She said, “I keep getting calls from media houses that I have taken GHS50,000 from Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

“I want to use this opportunity to clear my name. I have not taken any money from NPP or NDC.

“I don’t support any political party in this country.

“No politician approached me on the song ‘Ebedane’.

“So, I don’t know where this is coming from.

“The report is untrue, baseless and unconfirmed.”
