Kotei Dzani, traditional rulers, others elected members of Council of State

The result of the Council of State election that held today have been released.

The election, in which voting ended at about 2pm, held in the regions in the country except Upper East Region, where a court injunction obtained by the Nabdam Assembly stopped the electoral process.

Prominent among those elected to represent their regions on the Council is the President of Groupe Ideal, Dr Nii Kotei Dzani, for the Greater Accra Region.

The 37-year-old polled 20 out of a total of 32 valid votes cast.

Below are the elected regional representatives on the Council of State:

Nii Kotei Dzani – Greater Accra Region

Kwadwo Agyenim Boateng – Brong Ahafo Region

Eunice Jacqueline Buah – Western Region

Tumu Koro Richard Babini Kenton – Upper West Region

Nana Somuah Mireku-Nyampong – Eastern Region

Obrempong Appiah Nuamah II – Central Region

Nana Owusu Achiaw Brempong – Ashanti Region

Professor Bo-Na Yakubu Natogmah – Northern Region

Francis Albert Seth Nyonyo – Volta Region
