Police declare filling station manager wanted over theft

The Ghana Police Service has declared one Obed Appia wanted for alleged theft.

Appia, a Diaso based filling station manager is believed to have absconded with an amount of GH¢ 23,154,01.49 belonging to Top Oil Filling station in Diaso, Central Region.

The police said the complainant, Kofi Antwi, who is the owner of the facility, went to audit his manager, Obed Appiah at his Top Oil Filling station.

On his arrival, he discovered that the said amount had been stolen by the manager, who had also left his duty post.

The police is therefore requesting that anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspect should contact Diaso Police command or any nearest station or call 0243349164.

Meanwhile, there are hints that he is believed to be hiding in his hometown, Kade.
