The last has definitely not being heard about the seizure and subsequent release of the five vehicles belonging to the National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Kofi Adams, as he has declared his intention to head for court.

The five vehicles, two Toyota Lancruiser V8 and three Nissan Pick-up trucks were released to him yesterday by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service, after he was cleared of allegations of theft of State vehicles.

About 15 security operatives in military uniform had stormed Adams’ home in Tema and seized the vehicles on the suspicion that they were part of the state vehicles allegedly taken away by officials of the former NDC government.

However, Kofi Adams, who spoke on the telephone with Onua News, insisted that he would not speak on the issue because he was heading for court.

“I am going to court on various levels of the issue. Issues like defamation, criminal invasions of my house and stealing of some of my things in the cars”, he said.
