Radio presenter, Opare, says Akufo-Addo cannot fail Ghanaians

Renowned radio presenter, Nana Yaw Opare has expressed hope and confidence in President Akufo-Addo-led government.

The Onua FM news anchor added that he is sure the campaign promises Akufo-Addo made will be fulfilled in not time.

He made this known on Friday saying, “Nana Addo’s government cannot, will not and must not disappoint Ghanaians.

“He has six potential presidents in his government, so if he does not live any legacy I will be disappointed and people in my village New Jejeti shall also be disappointed.

“Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko, Minister for Railways and former Second Deputy Speaker, Joe Ghartey, Trade and Industry Minister, John Alan Kwodwo Kyerematen, Dr Frimpong Boateng, Minister for Regional Reorganization and Development and MP for Okere Dan Kweku Botwe, and Senior Minister, Yaw Osarfo Marfo all contested and exhibited potential to lead the country on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party, NPP.

“The NPP touted they have the men and Ghanaians can see the men, some of whom contested him (Nana) to be at his position and these people we know are high ranking in our society with a lot of experience in governance, so why won’t this government perform.

“I am saying that Dr. Bawumia, our current Vice President, has made us know that they have what it takes to turn this country round.

“This is the time they should show us that they did not just talk but can walk the talk.

“Ghanaians are waiting and watching, if this government fails, with all these people, they have no excuse my brother.

“The promises must be fulfilled,” Opare noted.
